From November 6 to 17, 2023, Cristina Durante Cruz from Dr. Päivi Tammela’s group at the University of Helsinki participated in the EU-OPENSCREEN Training Staff Exchange at MEDINA. The visit focused on developing high-throughput screening assays to inhibit biofilm formation by human pathogens.
During the exchange, Cristina gained new skills and collaborated with MEDINA’s teams, enhancing her expertise in advanced assay development. This program underscores EU-OPENSCREEN’s dedication to fostering research skills and collaboration across Europe, supporting the fight against biofilm-associated human pathogens.
